How We Started

Galactic Gold was founded in Rockland, New York with 3 goals in mind: sustainable bee management, the free spread of information, and the production of quality bee products. Galactic Gold works in concert with dozens of beekeepers across the tri-state area, to assist and educate. Our mentorship program is based out of Chester, NY and accepts applicants of all experience levels. Please be aware that depending on the time of year and capacity, it may not always be possible to start a mentorship right away.

When it comes to beekeeping, we take great pride in our work and treat each bee with the utmost respect. This means we strategically utilize smoke, always leave excess honey for the bees, and practice time-tested methods designed to minimize our disruption to the colony. These practices have helped to both reduce overwintering deaths and create a net positive growth year after year.

In addition to Galactic Gold’s many products, we are now working with other beekeepers on a new front: technology. We have assisted fellow beekeepers, IT professionals, and businesses of all sizes.
